About Tanjore
Tanjore or Tanjavur are also called Tanjai is a city in the southern part of Tamil Nadu, India. It has a high rich in culture and heritage. It lies in the river cavery delta. The other name of Tanjavur called “Rice Bowl of India”. It is the capital of the chola dynasty ruled by the great and most powerful king Raja raja Cholan (985 to 1014ce).
